As a colleague, I knew Catherine as one of the most gifted and dynamic English teachers that I had ever encountered. Later on when I asked her to create a meaningful presentation gift for our beloved pastor who was retiring, I discovered that she was also a gifted and talented artist as well. Catherine created a beautiful gift that truly represented and honored the thirty-one year friendship that our family shared with him.
